HYPER LIGHT Node
Three DMX512 ports on one Ethernet cable — Art-Net and sACN in, RDM out, and a page for the phone in your pocket.
Not for sale yet, and no date is promised. What follows is what has been seen working on a board — each line says where it is recorded — and what is still being built.
Proved on the bench
3 × 42.6 Hz
DMX512 outputs refreshing on the board, all three ports
read from the node's own status page, firmware 2.0.0
83,008 / 83,008
Art-Net frames from the console, three universes, byte for byte
captured on the node's board during an Academy recording
LAN · AP · Wi-Fi
every network mode connects; RDM discovery and sequential addressing work in each
field test on the board, firmware 2.0.0
Verified
hardware binding on the board: a SHA-256 over the chip's own MAC and its serial number
reported by the board's own security check, firmware 2.0.0
30
faders in the node's own DMX test, laid out for a phone held upright
served by the board itself
Still being built
- sACN (E1.31) proved on the wire with the node, beside Art-Net
- RDM with fixtures from several makers on every port
- A 24-hour soak at full universe load, and other consoles on the same network
- Firmware updates from hyperlightdmx.com
- Outputs that stay locked on a board whose binding does not match — built, not yet shown on a board
Art-Net and sACN from the console are taught in the Academy; Lesson 15 was recorded with the node’s board on the wire. To hear when the node is ready, write to us.
